I'm not sure if this is completely resolved
That's due to the logic being adapted from the existing modifier used with h2/hsql -
which was developed much earlier when Teiid used interval approximations. See
https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/teiid830final/Date_Time+Functions
That does need updated, but I'll do that under a separate issue.
