Steven Hawkins resolved TEIID-2282.
-----------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
This doesn't look like it actually affects Teiid. We could look at specifically
adding host name validation, but by default no part of the ssl handshake should be
checking the certificate hostname.
Teiid JDBC driver to suport using certificate where the CN name is
not same as the server name
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: TEIID-2282
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-2282
Project: Teiid
Issue Type: Feature Request
Reporter: Jack Ma
Assignee: Steven Hawkins
Priority: Optional
At MSSQL jdbc driver, there is a driver property "hostNameInCertificate"
allowing to use the certificate where the cn name is different from the server hostname.
Could teiid jdbs driver provide similar functionality?
