Stephen Brooks commented on TEIID-1672:

Steve,
I had read TEIID-1586 before I submitted the request, but I had thought that was just to
allow for the IP to be exposed for custom logging. Does TEIID-1586 allow for this data to
be logged through log4j configurations?
Thanks, Stephen
Log client IP Address when Session is created

Project: Teiid
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: Server
Affects Versions: 7.1.1
Environment: JBoss Enterprise Data Services
Reporter: Stephen Brooks
Assignee: Steven Hawkins
Labels: security
Enhance the current org.teiid.SECURITY log message when a session is created to include
the client's IP Address. This is functionality that is desirable for enterprise data
services users to meet security compliance requirements. It wouldn't matter which
logging level this is displayed at as long as this could be displayed by changing a
configuration file and not having to write any custom code.
