RH Bugzilla Integration commented on TEIID-2004:
------------------------------------------------
Horia Chiorean <hchiorea(a)redhat.com> made a comment on [bug
813837|https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=813837]
If I understand Van's last email correctly, the build (compilation) will still be done
with 1.6 and only the runtime will be 1.7. Since hopefully this is binary
backwards-compatible, this would mean no changes, right ?
Support 1.7 JDBC methods
------------------------
Key: TEIID-2004
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-2004
Project: Teiid
Issue Type: Task
Components: JDBC Driver
Affects Versions: 8.0
Reporter: Steven Hawkins
Assignee: Steven Hawkins
Fix For: 8.0
To build against a 1.7 VM without retarging to a 1.6 runtime for the Java libraries
requires that we update our JDBC logic to add missing methods. Most will likely still not
be supported and will throw a SQLFeatureUnsupported exception where appropriate.
