Steven Hawkins updated TEIID-3624:
----------------------------------
Issue Type: Enhancement (was: Bug)
Component/s: Query Engine
(was: Server)
That is correct enterprise types are not directly supported. You would need to use the
index metadata form of the vdb or just the index for the enterprise types.
Generally the concept of enterprise data types is not something that we would carry
forward in its present form. To the runtime they do little more than alias the runtime
type and generally are not useful outside of xml document models - which are also not
directly supported by dynamic vdbs/ddl.
No way to associate enterprise data types in dynamic vdb constructs
