Ramesh Reddy resolved TEIID-1495.
---------------------------------
Labels: 7.4CR1 teiid teradata (was: teiid teradata)
Resolution: Done
- Null are not always first in results, the exact ordering behavior is not known.
- Division values always evalute to rollups for ex: 7/2 = 4 than 3
- NULL is not compared in IN. for ex: IN ('foo', null) will not work
- DISTINCT with Time ignores the NULLS
- upgrade to Teradata Database 12.00.01.02 or later to avoid "Teradata Database Error
2665 Invalid Date"
- exp function at high values like exp(-32722) ends with bad argument, at low numbers it
works fine. Looks like teradata has limit.

URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-1495
Project: Teiid
Issue Type: Task
Components: JDBC Connector
Affects Versions: 7.3
Reporter: Ramesh Reddy
Assignee: Ramesh Reddy
Labels: teiid, teradata, 7.4CR1
Fix For: 7.4
Currently the Teiid does provide a Teradata translator, however it has been taken from
the old MMX code, however it was never validated with Teiid to make sure this works
correctly with the data source.
