I see issues here when there is a null timestamp value (that gives me a slightly different
exception on an older phoenix ) or when the subquery returns no rows (a different
exception). This seems similar to the char issues in that it's somewhat type / query
specific. Based upon what I'm seeing, I'd vote to initially KI this as well.

If a timestamp value is used in combination with ALL predicate (quantified comparison
predicate), then IllegalArgumentException is throw (by Phoenix driver).
