I have added my stuff to AS trunk https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBAS-8106 since this was a lot easier. As mentioned in the issue the feature is currently disabled until I fix the problems I mention there. Ideally, as mentioned on the other thread I would really really like https://jira.jboss.org/browse/WELD-555. What to do with the original of JBAS-8106, https://jira.jboss.org/browse/WELDINT-29?
