I posted a blog with a demo video for CordovaSim and BrowserSim some time ago that covers livereload and debugging stuff for JavaFX - JBoss Tools - Brand new BrowserSim / CordovaSim features (http://tools.jboss.org/blog/2014-10-30-brand-new-browsersim-features.html) Also there is a known javaFx issue coupled with the debugger API - https://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-38918 and [JBIDE-18526] CordovaSim: Debugger doesn't work properly with the last JDK 8u20 - JBoss Issue Tracker (https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-18526) Basically, Oracle JDK 8u11 and below should be used for debugging (I do hope it will be fixed soon).
