The scanning-deployers-jboss-beans.xml approach of listing exceptions to be ignored, IMO, wasn't a good way to deal with it and it won't be reintroduced in AS7 (hopefully). We however might come up with a way to allow skipping certain classes/jars from being scanned. But we must first know what exactly you and others are running into, to come up with the right set of requirements before implementing such a feature.
