Forget about it. I did not build the IE9 permutations and hence the error occured. my
mistake, sorry.

The HTTP basic doesn't work anymore. The console on IE7 (WinXP) doesn't prompt
for the credentials. However the same console version does work fine on 7.1.3. Using an
HTTP proxy I cannot see any handshake requests going back and forth.
