The file plague should be fixed.
The symlink issue should be part of VFS not AS.
Please open a JIRA issue in VFS about this (with detailed instructions/info of the
problem)
and we'll see what can be done.

Currently we use timed VFS cache,
which results in plague of temp jar files once the cache expires.
We should control the main VFS contexts better.
