Stefano Maestri commented on AS7-3615:
--------------------------------------
It's something discussed in Mailing list in october (explaining some reasons driving
me to this implementation)
http://lists.jboss.org/pipermail/jboss-as7-dev/2011-October/004202.html
and implemented this way since that time, since I have heard only approval answer.
There are at least AS7-2137 and AS7-2200 about this point in jira too.
Can't be modeled as a cli script calling the 2 operation? Isn't script exactly for
this situation?
I'm very very reluctant to change now a behavior for 7.1 that is implemented since 3
months having so few time to verify impacts. But I'll ask Brian and Heiko their
opinion since they are the two guys who joined the original discussion.
CLI: xa-data-source add command does not allow to specify
xa-datasource-properties
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: AS7-3615
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-3615
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Bug
Components: CLI, Domain Management, JCA
Affects Versions: 7.1.0.Final
Reporter: Dominik Pospisil
Assignee: Stefano Maestri
It seems that CLI xa-data-source add command does not allow to specify
xa-datasource-properties. As having non empty xa-tadasource-properties map is mandatory,
enabling such datasource fails:
[standalone@localhost:9999 xa-datasource-properties] xa-data-source add --name=TestXADS
--jndi-name=java:jboss/datasources/TestXADS --driver-name=h2
[standalone@localhost:9999 xa-datasource-properties] xa-data-source enable
--name=TestXADS
