---------------------------------------
Looks like DB2 and Sybase are cousins...evil cousins. :-(
I have setup a build with DB2 version 9.1 in hudson. It's at
http://hudson.qa.jboss.com/hudson/view/JBoss%20Portal/job/portal-db2 and the latest build
http://hudson.qa.jboss.com/hudson/view/JBoss%20Portal/job/portal-db2/7/co... shows error
as:
[SchemaExport] Unsuccessful: create table jbp_cms_version_node (PK integer generated by
default as identity, NODE_ID varchar(36), NODE_DATA varchar(100000000) for bit data not
null, primary key (PK))
[junit_] 12:10:41,066 ERROR [SchemaExport] DB2 SQL error: SQLCODE: -604, SQLSTATE: 42611,
SQLERRMC: varchar(100000000)
As per DB2 doc, SQLCODE = -604, ERROR: A DATA TYPE DEFINITION SPECIFIES AN INVALID LENGTH,
PRECISION, OR SCALE ATTRIBUTE which is similar to blob issue we had in Sybase.
