[~ibek] has requested that this is changed in the DMN Editor to commit/flush the value instead and {{<Ctrl>+<Enter>}} and {{<Alt>+<Enter>}} is used to start new lines within the {{TextArea}}. This would be consistent with _spreadsheets_.
