[JBoss JIRA] (JASSIST-214) Nullpointer in RuntimeSupport
by Mark Torres (JIRA)
Mark Torres commented on JASSIST-214:
-------------------------------------
Thanks Andreas, I encountered the issue and in my case, it is indeed dozer related. The straightforward fix in my case is to change DestBeanCreator in dozer to use the unproxied class's constructor.

> Key: JASSIST-214
> URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JASSIST-214
> Project: Javassist
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 3.16.1-GA
> Reporter: Michael Burns
> Assignee: Shigeru Chiba
>
> Under moderate load our multithreaded application frequently gives the following exception:
> java.lang.NullPointerException
> at javassist.util.proxy.RuntimeSupport$DefaultMethodHandler.invoke(RuntimeSupport.java:38)
> at com.Customer_$$_javassist_1.getHibernateLazyInitializer(Customer_$$_javassist_1.java)
> at org.hibernate.Hibernate.isInitialized(Hibernate.java:429)
> This then effects all future instantiations of the Customer object which give the same exception.

[JBoss JIRA] (WFLY-3136) SRV 7.7.2 non-compliance
by Paul Ferraro (JIRA)
Paul Ferraro updated WFLY-3136:
-------------------------------
Description:
>From SRV 7.7.2: Distributed Environments
Within an application marked as distributable, all requests that are part of a session must be handled by one JVM at a time.
Our default configuration for the Infinispan cache used for web sessions uses PESSIMISTIC locking. However, Infinispan only acquires locks on cache write operations. This only prevents concurrent writes to a session. Even with REPEATABLE_READ, 2 threads can read a session at the same time. We need to make sure both reads and writes to a session use cluster exclusive access, by default at least.

[JBoss JIRA] (WFLY-794) javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: rmi://127.0.0.1:1090/jmxrmi thrown when creating MBeanServerConnection
by Sidney Zurch (JIRA)
Sidney Zurch commented on WFLY-794:
-----------------------------------
Not fixed in 8.0.0.Final. WildFly deployment requires workaround from AS7-2138.
Rmi URL: service:jmx:rmi://app.xyz.com:28686/jndi/rmi://app.xyz.com:28686/jmxrmi
If workaround is applied app deploys without error.
Error trace without workaround below:

> When trying to create a MBeanServerConnection to a NON-JBoss application from within an EJB a "javax.naming.NameNotFoundException" is thrown.
> Steps to reproduce:
> Set up a stand-alone application that exposes an MBean. (ActiveMQ will work in this case.)
> Modify the attached JMXConnectionBean.java to connect to the ActiveMQ instance.
> Deploy the bean. A NameNotFoundException will be thrown.
> I've seen this behavior in 7.1.1.Final, 7.1.2.Final (EAP), 7.1.3.Final (EAP), EAP 6.1.0.Alpha (7.2.0.Final).
> Note that this behavior is NOT seen when connecting to another JBoss server.
