Rob Stryker commented on AS7-2777:
----------------------------------
I do know a user on the JBossTools forums once was strongly demanding the ability to
'stop' a deployment without undeploying it. We tried repeatedly to explain there
was no way to do it. A 'stop' was functionally equivilent to 'undeploy',
but he refused to believe it... What he was requesting was basically exactly this jira.
Add notion of start/stop for deployments
----------------------------------------
Key: AS7-2777
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-2777
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Domain Management, JSR-88, OSGi, Server
Reporter: Thomas Diesler
Assignee: Thomas Diesler
Fix For: 7.2.0.Alpha1
The JSR88 deployemt API allows control over the full deployment lifecycle
* deploy
* start
* stop
* undeploy
OSGi deployments (i.e. bundles) also have the notion of start/stop
This should be reflected in the management API for deployments.
