removed in the 4.0 timeframe.

Add db reconnnect feature (congifurable). Before using a connection check if the
connection is still valid, if not clean up this connection and try to use another existing
connection, if a connections are removed, try to make a new connection. If this fails give
up, throw exception, but next time try again..
