John Ament commented on JBPORTAL-2278:
--------------------------------------
You'll have to be more specific on what "security setting" you're
talking about. If it helps, thus far I've done all configuration via the admin gui,
not the xml files (as this is how we expect to use it with any portal vendor). I've
tried several combinations of the security settings on the portal itself. I've given
each role "View" and "View Recursive" on this portal. You can see my
additional comment on the forum post.
Documented URLs do not work.
----------------------------
Key: JBPORTAL-2278
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBPORTAL-2278
Project: JBoss Portal
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: Portal Core
Affects Versions: 2.7.0 Final
Environment: PostgreSQL 8.4 portal 2.7.1 bundled
Reporter: John Ament
Priority: Critical
Based on the docs, you should be able to access the following URL by default:
http://localhost:8080/portal/default
This works fine.
Then you create another portal "jimmy" and according to the docs
"jimmy" should be at
http://localhost:8080/portal/jimmy
But it's not. You have to use the auth url.
http://localhost:8080/portal/auth/portal/jimmy
