I am currently running with the following options -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+UseFastAccessorMethods -XX:-DisableExplicitGC -verbosegc At the start of this I had 867 copies of the jsf-impl when doing a ls -l /proc/xxxxx/fd I pulled a heap dump like jmap -J-d64 -dump:,format=b,file=heap.bin and wasn't able to glean much from that. I then did a jmap -J-d64 -dump:live,format=b,file=live_heap.bin and after I ran that the file count was 8 So it appears triggering a full GC cleans up the open files. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
