While the originally proposed fix is working on serialization, it posed some issues during de-serialization side, suggesting the correction cannot be a blind-fix as per original [closed PR #856|https://github.com/kiegroup/droolsjbpm-integration/pull/856]. It is suggested to investigate further with a comprehensive test, including serialization and deserialization.
