I tried this on clean box, not sure what would be wrong there. The script itself starts
with the following so its even more puzzling.
{code}# Ignore user's MAVEN_HOME if it is set
M2_HOME=""
MAVEN_HOME=""{code}
AS7 should be able to build out of box

It doesnt since you need https://community.jboss.org/wiki/MavenGettingStarted-Developers.
Why not just use the correct settings.xml by default?
