Dimitris Andreadis reassigned JBASM-3:
--------------------------------------
Assignee: Aleksandar Kostadinov (was: Shelly McGowan)
Why not (about the 2nd threadump method)
I think we should go first for the pure java solution.
If researching the native option maybe you could look int the jboss-native libs. Mladen
has made a wrapper that works on windows, too, so you can send signals and stuff.
Get a threaddump on hung servers

Key: JBASM-3
URL:

Project: JBoss AS Server Manager
Issue Type: Feature Request
Reporter: Dimitris Andreadis
Assignee: Aleksandar Kostadinov
At times where the timeout for shutting down a server has passed, and we try to kill it,
I think it would be a good idea to first send a signal to the server JVM to produce a
threaddump so we capture that in the logs and see what happens in there.
