It appears to be serializing Microkernel classes in the object graph which are naturally not available to the classloader of the test application during deserialization. This is demonstrated by test org.jboss.jsr299.tck.tests.implementation.enterprise.lifecycle.EnterpriseBeanLifecycleTest.testSerializeSFSB().
