I suggest that: JBOSSSH=${JBOSSSH:-"$JBOSS_HOME/bin/run.sh -c $JBOSS_CONF $JBOSS_BIND_ADDR"} is changed to: JBOSSSH=${JBOSSSH:-"$JBOSS_HOME/bin/run.sh} and the proper start command variable (NOT shell variable) includes options.
