Just tried upgrading AS6 trunk to 2.2.2.Final of HornetQ to see if this issue is fixed.
The upgrade isn't straight forward since I run into compile errors in AS6-HornetQ
integration module. This will have to wait for some more time, till someone has some free
time to integrate this new version in AS6 trunk.

As discussed in the referenced forum thread, when HornetQ first fails to deliver a
message to a MDB, it continues to redeliver the message infinitely. Also note that the JMS
Message.getJMSRedelivered() is also broken - it keeps returning false even on a
redelivered message.
