David Lloyd resolved AS7-708.
-----------------------------
Resolution: Rejected
Guys, a lot of good discussion has come out of here. But the actual issue in this JIRA is
too vague to be meaningfully resolved. Blanket solutions like "change the exception
to an ERROR log" or "just ignore it" or ignoring the actual problem with
statements like "AS 6 supported this" are not possible solutions and not helpful
here. We need to get specific. The problem report has to reflect the problem, not the
assumed solution.
In order to really solve the actual issue at hand, we need to get back to basics:
# Create an issue which reflects the _specific_ problem encountered in the summary.
# Document the expected result.
# Document the actual result.
Then we'll analyze the exact cause (I think Jaikiran's analysis is pretty good
here), evaluate previously available equivalent functionality and justification, and
address this sort of usability issue on a _case by case_ basis. We have to be concrete
when filing JIRAs; issues relating philosophical direction are too subjective to be
resolved meaningfully.
Ability to specify classloading exceptions to ignore similar to

We need to be able to specify exceptions to ignore during classpath scanning. This was
available in AS6, we need it in AS7, or something similar. Please see
