The message 400 in fact corresponds to 2 cases no Host mapped to the request and no
Context mapped to the request.
The guess is that no Context is mapped to request so the application isn't deployed
for any reasons.
I can't reproduce the problem.
Could you check what appends to the application? - The deployement should be incomplete -

Add a Host entry to the deployers/jbossweb.deployer/server.xml as described in the 4.0.x
section of:
