This is actually more extended than just pages... Adding more validation at several levels
to prevent creation of objects with invalid names.
It is possible to create page witch cannot be viewed

When creating a new page in portal (admin->admin->Portal Objects->default
portal->create page) with name "_.s t R*a^n g e NAME _.][\page" it is
possible to create the page, but it is not possible to view that page later.
