Question is do we support 'cactus stacks' ? How do we ensure that e.g. a a SUSPECT
event is not demultiplexed to the same protocol N times (where N == number of multiplexed
protocols) ?

Like the shared transport, investigate whether we can share other protocols. E.g. FD,
FD_SOCK (preventing duplicate server sockets and sockets), Discovery and so on.
