So, I found the problem, and it was with the code in the save method. What I did find is
that compiler errors are not being displayed in the console output when the they are
encountered. The compilation errors are not being displayed just a message saying that an
unspecified exception was caught, I had put some debugging println s in the method
collectCompilerProblems and found the problem. That though looks to be a bug in itself.
We can close this bug and reopen another that is more specific to the real problem of
compiler errors not being dumped to the console or reported as part of the exception. This
affects both the eclipse plugin and the PackageBuilder users.
