Mo Zollinger commented on AS7-1917:
-----------------------------------
Wouldn't it be much better solution to make it possible to set URIEncoding and
useBodyEncodingForURI on the connector element instead of using system properties?
Connector element:
<Connector name="http" ... URIEncoding="UTF-8"
useBodyEncodingForURI="true"/>
Like it's done for JBossWeb 3.0.x
http://docs.jboss.org/jbossweb/3.0.x/config/http.html
http://docs.jboss.org/jbossweb/7.0.x/config/http.html
System properties:
org.apache.catalina.connector.URI_ENCODING
org.apache.catalina.connector.USE_BODY_ENCODING_FOR_QUERY_STRING
Supporting URIEncoding and useBodyEncodingForURI in Connector

Key: AS7-1917
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-1917
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Web
Affects Versions: 7.0.1.Final
Reporter: Marek Smigielski
Assignee: Remy Maucherat
Fix For: 7.1.0.Beta1
I need to set URIEncoding and useBodyEncodingForURI in jbossas7 but I
didn't find any way of doing it. The way it can be done in previous
versions can't be applied because server will not start up properly.
It would be great if you could configure connector like that:
<Connector name="http" protocol="HTTP/1.1"
socket-binding="http" scheme="http" URIEncoding="UTF-8"
useBodyEncodingForURI="true"/>
