David Roberts commented on GPD-37:
----------------------------------
I would love the designer to be able to simply straighten transition lines with the click
of a mouse. I spend so much time trying to straighten transition lines before I deploy,
and sometimes it takes me 5 minutes just to get one line to look straight. And when you
have about 20 lines to neaten up, it takes forever. Then any changes to the flow, and you
have to do it again. Trying to move a line ever so slightly to straighten it is near
impossible, you have to move it quite a distance first, then drag it back and hope it is
straight. Perhaps just right clicking on a transition line, and selecting
"straighten" or "snap to grid" would save many hours of frustration
for many people im sure.

Project: JBoss jBPM GPD
Issue Type: Task

Reporter: Koen Aers
Assigned To: Koen Aers
Fix For: jBPM jPDL Designer 3.2.0.GA
While designing processes, it would be a lot easier if there is some kind of 'snap to
grid'. You can then have easier manual allignment etc. Besides that, the images look
better
- transitions should snap to the grid to
- transitions should be perpendicular at least if there are more than three points in the
line
