Shigeru Chiba commented on JASSIST-91:
--------------------------------------
It is technically possible to minimize the size of the jar file by removing unnecessary
components.
However, the proxy generation needs bytecode generation at the back stage, so the effect
would be
smaller than you expected.
More modular packaging

Key: JASSIST-91
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JASSIST-91
Project: Javassist
Issue Type: Feature Request
Reporter: Pete Muir
Assignee: Shigeru Chiba
Priority: Optional
It would great if you could just take the bits of Javassist you need - for example, we
only ever use the proxy generation facility, and don't need any of the bytecode
generation.
Motivation is simple - smaller dependencies (in jar file size).
