David Lloyd commented on JBAS-7065:
-----------------------------------
Maybe add a boot option --security-debug or something like that which automatically sets
up the appropriate security manager.
Also, the log messages should include not only a stack trace of the failed operation, but
also the stack of codesources that were checked.
Debugging security manager
--------------------------
Key: JBAS-7065
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBAS-7065
Project: JBoss Application Server
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: Security
Reporter: David Lloyd
Assignee: David Lloyd
Priority: Minor
Fix For: JBossAS-6.0.0.Alpha1
Develop a security manager which logs security violations, which is surprisingly
difficult to make the default security manager do.
If the server log is used, care must be taken to prevent excessive recursion caused by
access violations triggered while logging.
