JBMDR-69 fixed a bug where it wouldn't detect annotations where there was a bridge
method created by implementing a type parameterised interface. The fix for that bug does
not work if the method is defined in a parent class rather than the class itself, due to
getDeclaredMethods() only returning those declared in the class.
