Description:
A number of JDK objects are common in a web session, where the implementation class is
private or unimportant. Our current ObjectTable implementation chooses its externalizer
based on the implementation class, so some modifications are required to accept
externalizers whose target class is abstract.
e.g. TimeZone, ZoneId, Calendar
