I dunno, we never really investigated OSGI in the context of Seam. I know there is a plan for JBoss AS 5 to layer OSGI support in some way, but I'm not sure how its relevant to Seam. We will probably be default in 4.2.1, but installation is trivial - only 4 or 5 manual steps. I wouldn't read the 1.3.0 docs yet, I haven't updated them yet. This is because previous versions of AS used different versions of jars which meant people had either to do scoped deployments or do nasty hacks liking copying over newer versions of jars into AS. This caused untold headache for users and support, and lead to various compatibility issues with web services and EJB3. These should be a thing of the past in the next release. I dont understand why it will work? Why the persistence_unit_name will be set with value before the injection will happen. why should i use final?
