This is why work item handlers are available so various implementation can be provided without waiting for another release of the engine. The webservice's WSDL is secured with HTTP Basic authentication. Unfortunately I couldn't find out how to set username and password when using the wsconsume goal of the <groupId>org.jboss.ws.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-jaxws-tools-plugin</artifactId> maven plugin for client code generation. Can any body give me a hint how to solve this ( I already know that I can download the WSDL and imported XSDs manually and use a local copy of them......but this is not a good option)? [Performance Tuning] - Monitoring Servlets and JDBC

I am running JBoss 4.2.2.GA and I'm trying to understand how I can measure how much time Jboss takes to respond to a servlet request. In particular, I would like to measure the following: 1. overhead time for JBoss handling the request/response. 2. computation time for the execution of the servlet itself 3. time spent waiting for the database query. I'm using a Hibernate/JDBC architecture. I saw that the web-console is giving some measures like the overall aggregated processing time and the number of requests, but I couldn't find anything about the connection to the db. Both are bundled in an EAR file, are they? Maybe this causes trouble. Could you try to combine those two files? And maybe it is a strange configuration issue. So post as many details (code/config snippets) as possible. I found another thread with the same error message.
