I have found server.xml file. And I really want to limit the number of standalone clients connecting to EJBs. I can do this by manage my database but I want know have some difference ways to do this? Can I configure JBoss to do this? And my application is not web application. Please guide to me. Again, I am sorry about my same questions! And I believe it's not again. Thanks. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - identity propagation between different instances

Hi, I am new to JBoss and I have a question about identity propagation between the web and ejb tier. In particular, we have 2 instances of JBoss (4.0.5) running on two separate computers. We are only using the first instance for web tier operations and the second instance for ejb tier operations. In the web tier, we are using FORM based authentication. With this setup, can JBoss propagate the identity from the web tier to the ejb tier? As genman said, support for standalone JBoss JTA was recently added: You could use it in current versions by writing your own TransactionManagerLookup. The developers are experimenting with a stand-alone deployment of the JBoss JTS in the code test suite. It's not officially supported yet, AFAIK, but it can be done today. ybxiang.wolf - please tell me what is so different between netbeans and eclipse seam support. Where are you getting that ultimate plugin for netbeans ? The only version I can see and find just calls out to seam-gen and doesn't do more or less...meaning its the same as the one in eclipse. I would love if you could point out what parts you think is better instead of just saying jbosstools doesn't work. I don't think this is fixed, I still get Tomcat error page. I'm running recent CVS version. It looks like org.jboss.seam.web.FileUploadException exception is not intercepted properly. In my pages.xml I have proper handling to redirect me to my own error page. [Beginners Corner] - can't insert/update managed entity

Tried asking this on the Jboss Seam forum to no effect so I am going to try here.. When trying to insert an entity into the database as in MyDbObj obj = new MyDbObj(); entityManager.persist(obj); I get the following exception: Expected: class java.lang.Integer, got class org.hibernate.action.DelayedPostInsert Identifier This only happens if doing the add is the first thing I do on a page. If I edit a db object or delete one before adding, everything seems to work fine. I am running this under JBoss Seam.
