[JBoss Portal] - Re: Help needed publishing remote portlet

Ok. I managed to consume my remote portlet in Jboss Portal :). Another question I have (and I know it's off topic) is if it's possible to invoke my remote portlet from a j2ee web application (Servlet for example)? Has anybody have any suggestion on how to accomplish this task? Thanks. I have the same low <core:manager> timeout setting and the same Seam version as "idylle" (the previous author). My conversations simply don't timeout even with a timeout of 1 millisecond (my session timeout is 30 minutes). Could anyone tell me how I can control my conversation timeouts?? [News & Announcements] - JBoss Messaging 1.4.0.CR2 released

JBoss Messaging 1.4.0.CR2 has been released and is available for download. http://labs.jboss.com/jbossmessaging/downloads/jboss-messaging-1.4.0.CR2.zip This is a candidate release for JBoss Messaging 1.4.0. This release fixes several important bugs from the previous release, full details of which can be found in the release notes. The other major changes in this release relate to improvements on the persistence and fixes on ClusteredConnectionFactories. Before CR2 the ClusteredConnectionFactory would receive notifications only if a Connection were still alive. After CR2, every time you lookup for a new CF on the JNDI the ClusteredConnectionFactory will have a special callback to receive any topology changes from the server. The LoadBalancing and Failover will aways have the most updated info. JBoss Messaging 1.4.0 is also Java 5 only. This is because we build against JBoss AS 4.2 whose libraries are built against Java 5 only. We need to have our libraries synched up with AS 4.2 in order to be fully integrated with it. Enjoy! I found a partial solution for this problem: I invoke the init() method in a getter of an attribute that is used in the xhtml page. The problem with this solution is that the setter of this same attribute is never invoked when I submit in the form. Any way with the StateFul bean the problem in entirely resolved.
