Just a sidenote: using "conditional regions" as I did also supports content management via the admin portal. All you have to do is create multiple regions and, in your layout pages, add the appropriate logic. The end-user will see all regions, and will be able to add content to them at will. Using sound region names like "anonymous_banner" or "admin_sidebox" is a good idea, too. Hi Alex, Thanks for the confirmation. The fact was that my process is like this receive ->assign->invoke->receive .... The first receive and assign went fine, but I was getting exception in invoke. I thought since the receive activity is completed the process instance might have created, but it was not. That's what confused me. Now when I fixed the invoke's exception, it got working and the bpel process instances are indeed stored in JBPM_PROCESSINSTANCE table. Many thanks Alex for confirming it. I am also gettign the process instance through the graph session methods. yes.. resources take things from the classpath, not absolute paths. I would suggest that you drop the processdefinition.xml which you wish to parse in the same folder where you have your jbpm.cfg.xml. thanks a lot; I had it done as in psevestre's code, but will definitely try the patch of dkrieger as it permits my users to manage the front page by CMS. I wonder if this functionality wouldn't be welcome by more users, or if it's not possible because of some spec. A configurable option maybe? Hi All, here I have a doubt on how to configure to force jboss to flush database connection after certain time. Here I have come across some flush() method in JBossManagedConnectionPool. is that method can be used in this scenario, if so How can we do so. is there a way to do this by some configuraiton changes rather than programatically. Currently you need a processinstance. This will change in jBPM 4. In jBPM 3 you can make a real small processdefinition with just one task node in it (no start and end) and use that. no, 3.2.x is not officially (emphasis on officially!!!) tested against almost anything database and container. See http://www.jboss.org/community/docs/DOC-12859 and http://www.jboss.org/community/docs/DOC-12860 All working environments of 3.2.3 in e.g. the wiki are mostly reported by users and some JBoss consultants. This will ofcourse be extended, no worries, with real supported containers.
