[JBoss Portal] - Secure Portlet - Message

if there is a secured portlet/window and someone tries to access it with a role that is not in the security constraint, the portlet will not show up. is there a way that in this case some kind of message (like "access denied") is shown up instead of not showing up the portlet? Though I am not as experienced with JBoss I think your best shot would be to go with simple RMI. In any case, go with Option 2! What you are listing are basically the different types of packages War = web, ear = enterprise and ejb3. They also specify where the config *.xmls have to be located and their names. Would you require a session-based system where each connection could return a different set of values? If so go with a Stateless SessionBean. You can also have an MBean or a Service Bean, but they would only exist once. [JBoss Portal] - JBoss Portal/App Server Slimming

Dear all, i notice average on each time i start the Jboss, i will required at at least 5 mins to finish. I notice in the server/default/deploy folder there are plenty of exisitng application that required loading each time we start. I am wondering, anyone in here done any slimming before for Jboss? If yes, which one can we un-deploy from the deploy folder? Please help. It makes me cringe to think of what I'll have to deal with once I'm past these "easy" bits and on to more meat-and-potatoes type difficulty. Are the new docs for JBoss 5 in development? I'd love to see what's there, even in half-baked state. Or should I just go ahead, drop everything and start hacking glassfish? Share the jbpm-console modify version. Change item: 1. Using access.properties to configure 3 roles: admin,manager,user 2. Configure roles into page 3. Add my task page to show only this login user's task 4. Add prefix filter of process into menu bar to allow using prefix to seperate process domain 5.
