[JBoss Portal] - Changing the access denied error page to a custom page

If user who doesnt have access to a portal trying access it, I am getting Access denied: HTTP 403 Forbidden response error page. I need change that to a custom jsp page. I tried in the way described in refernce guide. I set the pproperties, | <property> | <name>control.portal.access_denied</name> | <value>jsp</value> | </property> | and | <property> | <name>control.portal.resource_uri</name> | <value>/WEB-INF/jsp/error/portal.jsp</value> | </property> | But its also not working. I am using JBoss 2.6.3 Any help is appreciated. [EJB 3.0] - Seam - mapped-name required for timerService of TimerService

Hello! I'm trying to deploy Seam 2.0.1 booking example under JBoss 5.0.0.Beta4 (Windows XP SP2) and I'm getting this error: mapped-name is required for timerService of deployment TimerServiceDispatcher This was originally also reported here: http://www.seamframework.org/Community/SeamExamplesOnJBoss5beta4 where Ales Justin said this was actually tested and that the original poster should post on the EJB 3 forum (which I'm doing instead of him). I haven't modified JBoss nor Seam in any way. Can somebody from JBoss check this and provide a hint? Thanks! Section 6.7 (Configuring Destinations) has some examples. But yes, it would definitely be nice if there were some example files shipped as part of JBossAS. [JBoss jBPM] - taskinstance setStart(new Date()) storing null in the databa

Hi, I want to modify the task time to the specified time . I used taskInstance.setStart(taskenteredTime); But it is insertint null in to the jbpm_taskinstance start_ table. I am giving a date which is more than the create_ date only. If anyone worked on changing start_ any clue for me? [Remoting] - C++ connection to JBoss Remoting

Hi, We are currently having a standalone java program that acts as a Socket Server to a C++ client. Our application needs to support various client requests and involved extensive thread management. We wanted a better implementation. I was wondering whether JBoss Remoting is a solution for this situation. As I am a new user, I read through the example code but it uses a Java Client. Is there a way I can make JBoss expose a Socket Server URL and have a C++ client connect to it? Any example code snippet would be really helpful. Thanks in advance. [EJB/JBoss] - JNDI problem

Hello! I would like to know how I could access from a ManagedBean to the remote interface of a Session Bean. The structure of my ear file is de folowing: | -Prototipo.ear | -META-INF | - MANIFEST.MF | - application.xml | - jboss-app.xml | -PrototipoEJB.jar | -entity | -ProyectoCMP.class | -META-INF | -MANIFEST.MF | -ejb-jar.xml | -persistence.xml | -session | -GestorProyectosBean | -GestorProyectosHome | -GestorProyectosRemote | -PrototipoWeb | -META-INF | -MANIFEST.MF | -WEB-INF | -classes | -ManagedBean.class | -lib | -faces-config.xml | -web.xml | In the class ManagedBean I would acces to the session bean GestorProyectosRemote but I don't know how. I try to import the package session.GestorProyectosRemote but this doesn't work. I'm using JBoss 4.2.2GA + EJB3.0. In the ejb-jar.xml file there aren't any definition of a bean.This is not necesary for EJB3 doesn't true?
