Check the server/xxx/deploy/uuid-key-generator.sar/META-INF/jboss-service.xml file. It contains a property used to create the table, make sure that property contains a correct DDL statement for Oracle. [JBossMQ] - required jar files for JBoss JMS client

I am setting up a JMS client on a remote box. It tryes to receive messages from the JBoss server. I have a bunch of jar files for JBoss. But which jar files should I copied over to the remote box for the client? For now, I only know jbossmq.jar jboss-j2ee.jar and jnpserver.jar. My JBoss server is 4.2.2.GA. [Remoting] - Setting codebase in jboss ejb3 application has no efffect

This is related to the topic http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=140498&start=0 I have posted some time ago with no success. I'll be short: My bean application A (which runs inside jboss jvm) generates (with javaassist) a class C and perform an rmi call on a remote object RO passing in argument an object of type C (the generated class). My generated class is available on a http class server created by my application. So In my bean application A I add to the java.rmi.server.codebase property the address of my class server. so two entries are in the codebase: the jboss class server and my class server. The problem is that when the RO (remote object) receives the call, it will only try to download the class in the jbosses class server (on 8083 port) because it doesn't receive my codebase. So it will not find the class there because it is only availbe on my class server. So does jboss takes in account the property java.rmi.server.codebase when marshaling objects? does it override the marshaller? So, in short: whatever my bean writes in the java.rmi.server.codebase property (I also tried to leave it empty), the remote object will receive the codebase of jboss class server. The question is: can I change this behavior. Thanks in advance, It would really help me, It's been 2 months since I have this problem. The class org.jboss.security.SimplePrincipal exists in the following JARs under my jboss home: client/jbossall-client.jar client/jbosssx-client.jar server/default/lib/jbosssx.jar Now, when I run only the server/default/lib/jbosssx.jar is being used. I even renamed the client directory to clientzzz and when jboss starts up i can rename the directory, etc so I know those 2 jars shouldn't be in the game when JBoss is up and running. But I still get a linkage error when I have: | grant principal org.jboss.security.SimplePrincipal "test" { | permission javax.security.auth.AuthPermission "testPerm"; | }; | In my policy file. Has anybody run across this? Or know exactly how you are supposed to assign permissions to specific users/groups? Hi all, I've got a simple question: I have a simple sar with some jar-packages inside running in a scoped classloasder. Now I want to access one or more classes inside the sar-file (and from one of its jar-packes indes the sar) from a class (f.e. a SessionBean) running in the ucl. What I have exactly to do? The wiki does not mention that you need to ensure the tables are available on the new data source. The error message java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist indicates that you are trying to retrieve date from a table that does not exist. Most likely the anonymous wrote : HILOSEQUENCES table is not visable in the Oracle Instance. Have you tried to retrieve anything from the HILOSEQUENCES table directly (using PL/SQL or Toad or SquirrelSql or something like that). Best bet is to look at the sample DS for Oracle, and change the SQL in the default DS to match the SQL in the sample.
