I stand corrected when I said the portal wouldn't support listing the online users. Portal events may allow you to do so, as noted here. The invalidation of the user session, though, is a different matter, let's wait for the feedback to the JIRA issue. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Migration to AS 5.0.1 -> Authentication Exception

Our app works great in production on AS 4.2.1. We are trying to migrate to AS 5.0.1. In the middle of a method in a session bean, it seems like it forgets the security domain. Even calling a create method on the local home of an EJB 2.1 which has already been called earlier in the method can cause the problem. It always occurs at the same point, but we can clear it by moving code up the method but then the problem occurs somewhere else such as calling some local interface method on an EJB that has already been instantiated. We are using a security domain with a custom login module. Here's the stack trace, Any ideas what's going on ? [JBoss Cache: Core Edition] - JBC Strategie with JPA/Hibernate

Hi all, reading section 9.5.4 of the guide "replicated caches with each cache having its own data store" a question arises: - Using JPA/Hibernate, would it possible to have two nodes (or even more) in a cluster (one db per node), and operate the same way section 9.5.4 describes?? That is, keep two DBs in sync through the cache ? - If not possible, I must adhere to using just one db for the whole cluster or using one db per node and assume db's will go out of synch ?? What's the best strategie ?? [JBoss Cache: Core Edition] - MVCC Write Skew

I've been testing with MVCC in order to reproduce write skew. Testing's been done with JPA/Hibernate in this way: 1.- Two concurrent threads read a field of an entity. 2.- Both of them increment (by one) that field based on the value previously read. Results are as expected. R_R causes a Data Versioning Exception and R_C does not produce any exception. However, and this is my question, results with the two transactions are the same. Entity field is incremented one with R_R since one transaction rollbacks and same result is seen with R_C though without exception. Is the behaviour of R_C correct ? [JBoss Cache: Core Edition] - How to load the entire data in to the JBOSS Cache.(Applicati

Hi, Our application is a trading application contains the lack of record(Trade). We are using the JBOSS Cache(Core) deployed in the JBOSS AS and Fire bird is the Database. We have a requirement ,to perform some calculation based on the current set of data.(Because on the other side the trade will comes in)The calculation will be done in for every 30 mins. How to load the entire data in to the Cache.Please help in this regard.
