Did you try the Documentation link on the Portal product page (http://jboss.org/jbossportal/)? The Portal includes a Content Management System that can be used to server files. [JBoss Portal Users] - JBoss User Guide/Documentation PDF not found

Hi I would like to take JBoss portal for a test drive. I am trying to find out if there is a User Guide that shows the features of JBoss Portal. I viewed the video though. What I would like to do is look at the user guide and look if I can as a User on the Portal allow other users to download files that I uploaded to a repository. Do you want to turn off all debugging? If so, then there are two possibilities. You only need to do one of them, not both. 1) Add a threshold to the FILE appender: | <appender name="FILE" class="org.jboss.logging.appender.DailyRollingFileAppender"> | . . . | <param name="Threshold" value="${jboss.server.log.threshold}"/> | . . . 2) Add a priority to the root: <root> | <priority value="INFO"/> | <appender-ref ref="CONSOLE"/> | <appender-ref ref="FILE"/> | </root> By the way, the FILE appender uses a rolling daily appender so each day you should get a new log file - why not simply have a cron script that runs every day and deletes all log files more than X days old? You can create your own WAR as an exploded deployment (http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/ExplodedDeployment) and place the files in there. You might have to add a mime-type to the web.xml (see the global web.xml at server/xxx/deployers/jbossweb.deployer for an example) P.S. You never said which version of JBoss AS so I assumed the latest - 5.x. If you are using a 4.x version I'll leave you to find the global web.xml. [jBPM Users] - jbpm 4.1 installation problems on jboss 4.2.3

Did anyone successfully install jbpm 4.1 on jboss 4.2.3? If so, could you shed some light on the issues I'm having during the install. I get JbpmDS not bound errors. But I have that datasource defined in jbpm-hsqldb-ds.xml in the jboss/server/default/deploy/jbpm directory. I tried to put the ds xml file one directory above (in the deploy directory) but that didn't help either. Below is the stack trace. That was actually a relatively recent change. I've been playing with different options trying to get this to work. I did have a hibernate.cfg.xml. It wasn't clear initially (after deleting the file) how to get rid of the reference in the console configuration since the field is disabled, but then I remembered I have to set the configuration type to "Core". Regardless, it has nothing to do with my problem. I started out without it, and after removing it, the problem persists.
