I have to be missing something trivial here..
Using JBoss (or hibernate?) tools on Helios, I define my drive, ping it and all good. Though JBoss doesn't seem to find it:
Caused by javax.servlet.ServletException with message: "javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Cannot open connection"
Caused by javax.faces.el.EvaluationException with message: "javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Cannot open connection"
Caused by javax.persistence.PersistenceException with message: "org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Cannot open connection"
Caused by org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException with message: "Cannot open connection"
Caused by org.jboss.util.NestedSQLException with message: "Unable to get managed connection for testSeamDatasource; - nested throwable: (javax.resource.ResourceException: Unable to get managed connection for testSeamDatasource)"
Caused by javax.resource.ResourceException with message: "Unable to get managed connection for testSeamDatasource"
Caused by org.jboss.resource.JBossResourceException with message: "Could not create connection; - nested throwable: (org.jboss.resource.JBossResourceException: Failed to register driver for: org.postgresql.Driver; - nested throwable: (java.lang.*ClassNotFoundException: org.postgresql.Driver*))"
Caused by org.jboss.resource.JBossResourceException with message: "Failed to register driver for: org.postgresql.Driver; - nested throwable: (java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.postgresql.Driver)"
Caused by java.lang.ClassNotFoundException with message: "org.postgresql.Driver"
Am I foolish to think that all I need to had done was specify the path to the driver in the IDE and everything would be taken care of on the AS on deployment?
Tried also with mysql and the same thing...(so I know its me)... I ping it alright in the IDE though the server can't find it.
When I go to the admin console and test the connection there it says "Successful", though I think it means that it successfully tested it and not connected as the Result section shows no connection obtained...
Sorry for being noobish.

+*Intro:*
+
I noticed that when I turn off the JBoss server and start it back up again, the \server\default\tmp\ folder gets completely deleted and then filled up with the contents of \server\default\deploy\.
So, when I edited a .jsp on the fly I would go to \tmp\ and find the folder for my application (i.e. \363aad28320.myapp.ear\ )
There, inside, I can browse thru the files and change them.
I thoght I had to save these files on an outside folder (i.e. C:\myworkspace\) in case I stopped the server and then started it up again, so they wouldn't get overwritten.
Cool.
But today, I forgot to save the changes, and restared the server, and when I go to my browser, I see my changes!
I'm very grateful they are still there, but I wanna know how.
*+Question:+*
So, the question: where is jboss saving these changes I make to the .jsps on the \tmp\ folder that it knows I made a change and on the restart it shows me the newest page?
I'm using JBoss 4.2.3.GA

[Datasource Configuration] - How can I set an Oracle XA datasource property from my -ds.xml file?

"How can I set an Oracle XA datasource property from my -ds.xml file?"

--------------------------------------------------------------
I need to set a property on my Oracle data source. However, I can't see how to do this via my -ds.xml file.
In code I am doing the following:
final OracleXADataSource ods = new OracleXADataSource();
ods.setPassword(password);
ods.setUser(username);
ods.setURL(url);
final Properties connectionProps = new Properties();
connectionProps.put(
"oracle.jdbc.RetainV9LongBindBehavior", "true");
ods.setConnectionProperties(connectionProps);
final OracleXADataSource ods = new OracleXADataSource();
ods.setPassword(password);
ods.setUser(username);
ods.setURL(url);
final Properties connectionProps = new Properties();
connectionProps.put("oracle.jdbc.RetainV9LongBindBehavior", "true");
ods.setConnectionProperties(connectionProps);
My current datasource file looks like this:
<xa-datasource>
<jndi-name>${application.prefix}</jndi-name>
<xa-datasource-property name="URL">${ccc.db.connection.url}</xa-datasource-property>
<xa-datasource-class>${ccc.db.datasource}</xa-datasource-class>
<user-name>${application.db-username}</user-name>
<password>${application.db-password}</password>
<max-pool-size>100</max-pool-size>
<exception-sorter-class-name>${ccc.db.exc-sorter}</exception-sorter-class-name>
</xa-datasource>
I tried the "xa-datasource-property" element but this doesn't seem to work - my understanding is that this will try to find a JavaBean setter, which doesn't exist.
