[jBPM] - Rejection from task to previous tasks

There is a need for us to be able to allow the current task owner to reject the order to state of any of the previously executed tasks. Is there a way to do this in JBPM without having to create transitions for each permutation and combination? Thanks in advance. I was waiting for a reply for 2 days. At last I got a reply. Thank you. And I have gone through the link you mentioned in the reply. In that you have mentioned a few workarounds and I would like to know which workaround you have used. With the workaround is there any impacts in the other functionalities? Please let me know the exact workaround you used. And as the reply of your discusion Huesheng mentioned a patch and whether it is part of 4.3 or do you tested the same and used. If yes please provide that and if not please send me your patch for removing the unique constraint for ID_ in the JBPM4_EXECUTION table. It did not help much. So later on i started everything from the scratch and reaized that i need "messaging" folder even in the place where i'm running client application in JBOSS. When i have messaging folder, during sartup i can see the connection factories are created and i believe this resolves my problem. Now my messaging client able to send messages to server. Is this dependency is right? Do we have any other better way of doing it? I really don't like to have the "messaging" folder in my client application which requires to have "ServerPeer" and some form of JMSUser, Persistency services, etc. I do not want all of them in my client application. [Beginner's Corner] - Upgrading JBoss 4.0 to 5.1 - application won't connect

The application has been running for several years under 4.0.5 and is a strict EJB2 application with a standalone java app front end connecting with JNDI. I had hoped to try migrating to EJB3 a bit at a time, there is no time for a full conversion project, and I need the old application to run as is until I can move parts over. I got the server jar to deploy fine under 5.1 and haven't seen any errors except for: Deployment "vfsfile:/C:/Java/jboss-5.1.0.GA/server/default/deploy/properties-service.xml" is in error due to the following reason(s): java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.jboss.system.server.ServerConfigLocator.locate()Lorg/jboss/system/server/ServerConfig; Which some of the discussions I've found here seem to indicate isn't a real problem. It isn't one of my xml files, but one that came with the install. But when I run the application pointing to the new 5.1 server, it doesn't connect. I don't see any errors, any messages, just an eventual timeout. I was wondering if the JNDI providers have to change or if there is something I'm missing. In connector-*.xsd the root tag have an attribute version. Our jboss-ra files haven't it. We have 2 opportunity: * Add the version attribute to the root tag * change target namespace in xsd using something like http://www.jboss.org/schema/ra/1.0 http://www.jboss.org/schema/ra/1.0 and http://www.jboss.org/schema/ra/2.0 http://www.jboss.org/schema/ra/2.0 Your thoughts?
