Bottom line is that it doesn't work. I don't believe support for global handlers exists for cxf, jbossws or otherwise. A cutomer ran a Retina scan on a deployed system and are asking us to change the way JBoss Portal responds to unknown subdirectories. Currently, going to http://theHost/portal/portal/ourPortal/anyDirectory/someSubDir http://theHost/portal/portal/ourPortal/anyDirectory/someSubDir displays the default portlet without trimming the URL back to http://theHost/portal/portal/ourPortal http://theHost/portal/portal/ourPortal I'd expect this is something I could configure in the jboss-service.xml file, but I don't know what setting will do the trick. We're planning a move away from JBoss Portal, but this customer wouldn't be ready to replace what they have for 12 months at least. Please help me avoid 20 hours of research into APIs! We found from an internal auditing team that this version of Jboss’s web-container has a know vulnerability called “Hash Collision” . The workaround available by setting a configuration parameter Dorg.apache.tomcat.util.http.Parameters.MAX_COUNT is not application to Jboss 4.23.00 version . http://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2011-4858 I have seen that Jboss 7.x has a workaround fix for this issue. 1. Is it possible to upgrade only the web-container part of Jboss 423 to Jboss 7.x web container so that the vulnerability get addressed? If this is recommended, along with jbossweb.jar which are all other jars needs to be copied to Jboss 4.23.00 ? because I notice in Jboss’s7 web module there are more number of jars this time. 1. I have an alternate option to see the source code of Jboss 7.x ‘s jbosspiweb.jar to check how does it handles the workaround (setting .apache.tomcat.util.http.Parameters.MAX_COUNT)..then Change the same code in Jboss 423’s jbossweb.src and rebuild locally to address this security issue. Today i just installed jbpm 5.2 using ant install.demo. after the successful insatllation i started using ant start.demo. I went to jbpm console and saw the evaluation process in Process Overview tab. Once I start the process i'm able to view the ftl file and gave username as krisv and filled the reason and completed the file. I'm not able to view the started process in Instance. Its showing the following message. Please help me to resolve this.
